Sugarlands Nature Trail
1 mile loop located behind the Sugarlands Visitor Center just inside the National Park (Gatlinburg side)

Gatlinburg Trail
2.1 mile trail begins on River Road next to the Gatlinburg Water Department and ends at Sugarlands Visitor Center Pets and bikes are allowed

Noah “Bud Ogle”
3/4 mile loop - 3 miles up Airport Road (light #8 in Gatlinburg)

Elmont Nature Trail
3/4 mile trail Take Little River Road (inside National Park) turn on Elkmont, go 1.3 miles and turn left, just 0.3 miles to the parking area

Little Greenbrier School (Historic Area - 19th Century School)
1 mile trail Take Little River Road (inside National Park) 9 miles to Metcalf Bottoms Picnic area Two parking options: Park at picnic area and walk across bridge, turn right and follow the trail Drive across bridge continue approximately 1 mile, park and walk to school

Mingus Creek Road
1.5 miles to Old Cemetary Follow 441 over mountains from Gatlinburg - you will see a sign for Mingus Mill (1/2 mile before Oconaluftee Visitor’s Center) Park at the mill and walk down the river gravel path

Oconaluftee River Trail
1.5 mile trail Begins at Visitor Center on the Cherokee side of the mountain) and walk through reconstructed farm and river trail Pets and bikes are permitted

Look Rock
1/2 mile trail Foothills Parkway (Townsend side) Cades Cove Loop Road 11 mile one way motor loop with stops for homes and farms, churches, cemeteries and walking paths

Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail
7 mile one way motor loop - begins past the Ogle Farm on Cherokee Orchard Road, explores abandoned farmsteads and offers one of the best opportunities for viewing wildflowers (not suitable for RVs or trailers). Closed in winter

Cataloochee (Historice Area)
Access able through Cosby or Maggie Valley Driving trail and hiking trails (dirt road part of the way) The hike to Little Cataloochee Church is an historic trip to a mountain valley setting left over from the last century.

Quiet Walkways
Pull offs located along 441 and Little River Road Look for green ’Quiet Walkway’ signs - these lead to the quiet paths to river, stream or a woods

Handicap Trail
